Sometimes the Search Engine world is good. When Google announced its intentions to expand the way we search online. And, as we are out and about. Voice Search, Image Search. And, voice transation search and then if that wasnt enough, language to language conversion on the fly. For me, its an astounding concept.
In google mobile Image search. Users will be able to take a photo of say, The Tower of London. and get the result of the building and location. Go Google. Take a photo of a person and find out who they are, using Facebook and Myspace, Be able to Shoot a document, book or other and convert it into text. Or, photograph a bottle of wine and get its maker, history, region, price guide and characteristics.
Google have announced over 30 new aps for online and the android platform mobile i-phone in the last 60 days alone. With Help available from google groups etc. if your new to Android
Outstanding developments in search always inspire me. One drawback that spriongs to my mind is the loss of identity, I dont know if i want someone to be able to photograph me and pull my identity via my images on facebook and myspace. Even though google goggles isnt yet on the andriod i-phone yet.
